Weaving for fun...

The trip to the Children's Museum of Minneapolis brought on so many of ideas...

Here we have a weaving station that my mini had a blast playing on. As you see it is just a set up loom. There is a bunch of ribbons and so forth below in a container. Kids could come and go, putting in one or more ribbons through the loom.

This might be a station in my room for 2010-2011 school year. I have many manipulative for 'extra' time in my classroom. This would be a fun on going weaving in my room.

  1. Hello, Mrs. Hahn, you are a sweetheart!! Thank you for letting me know about the comment problem - now I just need to figure out how to fix it :-(
In the meantime I'll post something like you did to get people to keep trying, because the feedback on the posts means a lot to me.
Meanwhile - your new background/layout is AWESOME - I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Where did you find it? My only problem was the comment thing - the little thought bubble didn't immediately pop out to me as the place to leave a comment. Perhaps you need to make it more obvious for dummies like me?? Love all the sketchy wiggly lines, and hand-drawn look to it. So much better than the past 2 attempts! Keep this one!!
