Draw and Fold Over

Check out this GREAT site. This was brought to my attention by Mikl from Art Club Eduation

I also found this site... yep, there's an APP for that:)

Warning... These sites do have not non-school appropriate images on the 'welcoming' page. These sites should only be visited with an adults permission. I keep them on because the art part of the sites are so much fun and can be used in an appropriate way.

  1. Thank you for the wonderful interactive link to that drawing website. It is just what I am looking for to complete my project for the smartboard class I took last week. And we love to do a unit on exquisite corpse, especially at the end of the year. This was fun!

  2. OH MY GOSH!.... I tried doing this as a filler lesson two weeks ago with my first graders, but it went waaaayyyy over their head. They just could not grasp the idea of either 1) staying inside and only inside their rectangle portion or 2) not finishing off their portion so that the next kid could continue on.

I'll have to try this again with maybe some older students.

  3. I just checked out the site and played but didn't pass it on (I guess I needed email addresses handy? I'm a little clueless about the actual sharing process). It was fun but the tools were a little finicky. I don't have a smart board and would not be able to do this w/kids, but don't think I would anyhow, as some of the pics that showed up as finished samples were a little risque, at least for kids. Cool site though.
