Watercolor Roses


Students were asked to draw a rose using a grid.  They then traced their drawing onto a watercolor sheet of paper.  Students painted in the style that I demonstrated in an earlier post (click here).  I think these would have been even more successful if I didn't have student grade paper.  For the supplies the kids had, they turned out great!  Please see the rest of the collection at our flickr site.




Here is a silly little video of how to use the wet on wet in a controlled manner.  It's a little cheesey, but wanted to get the point across quickly.
