My creative little boy.

This is Sawyer's submission for the Art Show sponsored by the Elk River Arts Alliance for a long time now.  He pieced, and quilted on the machine and did a lot of hand sewing after that.

He calls this, The Fishing Trip.  It is a picture of him and his dad fishing together.  He explains that the son doesn't have a bit because he's just learning.  The boat is felt, hand stitched on.  The sun and the people are buttons.

He also sewed these cool fish below the sea.  The eyes of the fish are beads.  I think this is a sweet little hanging quilt that this sweet little 8 year old made.  I'm really proud of him for working on it so long.

Now both of the kids have a submission.  Take a look at Matisse's in a previous post.
