Sweeper Organization

If you have designated a place for everything in your classroom... the kids will keep it cleaner, I promise.  So here is my new system for these cute little sweepers.  I had some sweepers from years past, but they were different colors.  I know, why should that matter... I don't know why it does, but it does in the elementary and middle school.  If there is something that is different, the kids all want to use it, or no one wants it.  So I found these for $1.50 and they are all the SAME.  Worth the money.

I put a dot on the wall with paper and packaging tape.  These colors align with my table colors.  I hammered in a push pin in the center of each circle.  Then I put the same colored pipe cleaner on the sweeper.  I have had this in my room for weeks and the kids have used it every day.  Each sweeper is still put on the right color and put away every day.  That is ART TEACHER BLISS!

  1. I love the little dust pans for each group! I have one bigger one and they are always fighting over it! Several smaller ones designated to each group may well be my answer to this ! Thanks! You have one very organized art room! :)
