I'm learning from ACT...

When Anne and I were talking about making an art trade, she mentioned that we might work on a larger size then a traditional trading card. She told me... Maybe an A3 or an A5. WHAT? What is that? I did my homework and learned a lot. I explain to to Anne that we typically would say a sheet of paper is 9 inches x 12 inches (at least in the midwest America). That was the confusion. We agreed to trade a 6x12 inch or A5 work of art:)

  1. Whaha! In Europe we use those sizes! But I think an A3 sheet for a trading card is huge!

  2. I don't know anything about these paper sizes either. Where did you get the information to learn about it?

  3. Janie- Good! I thought I was just living under a rock or something. Glad to hear others have never seen this as well. When I researched the sizing I just googled A3 paper size. Got this image under google images.

Jacquelien- We had talked about doing a larger piece when we started our conversation. I like the A5 or smaller for this project. Do you teach? Any place in Europe would be fun to trade with too:)
