I had fun creating a collection for the ArtsConnectEd iPad Challenge. ArtsConnectEd is a place to explore the combined collections of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and the Walker Art Center. Search over 100,000 resources in the Art Finder, including works of art, texts, audio, video, and interactive resources. Save and customize items in the redesigned Art Collector. I know... it sounds like an advertisement... but it's not, I just had a lot of fun with this project! Click here and see the collection I created for the challenge.
This comment has nothing to do with your post. I wondered whether anyone else has been having this problem with your blog lately. When I open your blog, it jumps all around, and takes a while for my mouse to "catch" it and scroll it properly. It is so jumpy! I don't know why. But anyhow, that's why I haven't left any comments in a while; I still love your blog!
ReplyDeleteWhile I'm here - I wanted to tell you that prior to Christmas break, I played the "tele-draw" game with my 4th graders. They loved it. Thanks for the great idea! My 6th graders saw us playing (we played in the hallway so we could sit in lines) and begged to play it too (usually I play an art room version of Pictionary with them before vacations). Everyone loved the game, but boy, it was challenging for some of them. My brand-new 4th grade student from China (who speaks no English) caught right on and tried her best in her first time in art class!
