This was the 1st grades cupcakes created under the inspiration of Wayne Thiebaud. This project was also inspired by a project posted on For the Love of Art. I loved the look of this project when finished, but I don't know if it was a repeat. I like to have 90% of my students be successful with their project. One of the requests of this project was to make it represent a cupcake. There were quite a few who got caught up on the collage part of the cupcake building and lost track of the representation of a cupcake. None the less, most students enjoyed this one.
