Seventh grade is starting our two-point perspective for this quarter. This is my example and video of how I plan to teach my students. I wanted to post this for students who need the catch up. I can't wait to see the creative details that my 7th grade will put into their tree-houses! Keep an eye out for the post of their work.
Update: This just came in the mail for me. ARE YOU KIDDING? How cool is that... here we just started our tree-houses and MR. HALL sent me his spectacular CD. What a great addition to my lesson. My two mini's at home were loving it last night. If you haven't already, check out Mr. Hall Blog and beautiful music! It's a must have if you are going to try this lesson... you can even purchase via iTunes I think. Cool stuff!
Second Update!!: I was doing my nightly pinning on pinterest when I ran into another 2-point tree house. GREAT minds think alike. I was not surprised by the fact that the other tree house was created with non other then Theresa McGee! She inspires me often! You have to check out her lesson plan as well. NICE work Theresa... and with such young students!
I LOVE this!! Fantastic video as well! :)

ReplyDeleteHello! I did this project last spring with 8th graders and we had fun with it. Here are the results: http://createartwithme.blogspot.com/2016/01/8th-grade-2-point-perspective-dream.html
ReplyDeleteThank you SO MUCH for the video tutorial--it was a great way for the students to move at their own pace (or catch up if they were absent). Loved it! Thanks again, take care. Mrs. P
