Fairy Flags

We were totally inspired by Fugleblog's last post!  She had a link to a video called Fairy Scientist.  These 4 second graders and 1 kindergartner were looking for 'fairy evidence' all day long.  We noticed in the video there were little flags... 

We used some ripped fabric for our flags.  First we laid a strip in front of us.

 Then we doubled over a second and placed it below the first strip.

 The tails from the second rag were pulled up and placed through the loop.

 Tighten this up and repeat.

Again... Let me tell you... this entertained for hours.  It was a very fun project and we at totally hoping that the fairy's will be attracted to our new flags.
