Do you ever give an instruction only to have the instruction questioned 25 times after you have given it? Here is your solution. I know this is not a unique idea but I can still remember the first time I heard the phrase... "Ask 3 before you ask me." It felt like the best idea EVER!! Maybe not the best idea ever... but truly a good tool to use in your classroom.
I like this....it goes with our new evaluation system thats says students should be modeling the teacher and teaching each other, reminding them of directions, how to do things etc... thanks I will definitely be using this in my room! :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the 'ask 3 before me' system. It is so frustrating having to repeat yourself literally right after you told the kids (and written it on the board, etc) what they need to do. Your little sign is so cute.
