Art Note for the Paint by Number
Here is an example of the Art Note I attached on the back of the Paint by Number Project. You can get a better view of it on my google share site. This Art Note helps young artist fully explain the concept of the project. It shows the new shapes the students learned. Mediums, tools, and process is also addressed on this note. It also gives kids a bit of a challenge at identifying the even and odd numbers. For an art teacher teaching 650 students as I do, you will see the name includes the last (very helpful when grading) and TC or Teacher Code, so I can keep them apart from one another. I also print the worksheets off in different colors for each of my 1st grade sections so I can identify the class by color as well.

ReplyDeleteI love your note idea. It takes a lot of work I know! But it really brings a lesson full circle.
